Pharmacists
Our Practice Pharmacist assists the practice in the management of medicines and prescribing policies in addition to being available to patients who may wish to discuss problems they may have in relation to their medicines.
Community Nurses
The Primary Care Trust employs the nurses who work from within the health centre. Other staff nurses, enrolled and auxiliary nurses are also included in our district nursing team. They carry out nursing care for patients in their home.

Health Visitors
A Health Visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
Social Prescriber
Brechin Health Centre now have Cara who is our Social Prescriber and is here Tuesdays and Thursdays
Within Angus there are currently 8 social prescribers employed by Voluntary Action Angus and working across all 16 GP practices. They offer face-to-face, telephone and Near Me video consultations. The social prescribers have access to a wealth of information and resources to enable you to find the best support for your own individual needs. If you feel you have a non-medical problem you would like assistance with, please contact your GP surgery to book an appointment directly with a Social Prescriber.
